I have heard that being students in US universities will help you get a green card. Is that true? There’s news that some groups are lobbying for special green card categories for advanced students. Should I start looking at sample admission essay online to prepare for the needed for admission essays for US universities? They say that aside from marriage, the lottery and having a relative in the US, being a student is a way to get a green card. It is said that one has to graduate, get a job, and have your employer endorse your green card application. But doesn’t that take too long? Is this really a viable option?
