| Republic Act 1425
This act is a mandatory for all Colleges to include the Rizal Subject to their curriculum. However, there is an issue about the credibility of Rizal to be called the national hero of the Philippines, for others contended that he is not a revolutionist or even reformist for his writing is stared only to the appreciation brought by his travel abroad.. The Fili and Noli are books contain the terrible act of Spaniards before, but if we embark upon the history how he write this books, it came from emotion that brought by the Spaniards to his private family who were abuse by that time, but not from the People. Yes, he generalizes his claim against friars, but still these books with contend has been printed not for the people but for his private sorrow.
So guys if our national hero will be change, is their any significant in the Filipino perspective?

| actually, the one to be considered as heroes are those people who fought for the freedom of our country...although Rizal did try to awaken each of their minds but it was them who did the work and sacrifice their lives just to attain our country's independence...
(nasa sense ba ako?! hahahaha)

| Why should one take precedence over the other heroes in our history? It is as if he has made more contributions that anyone else. There are many other unsung Filipino heroes who also put their lives at risk and probably made even greater sacrifices than Rizal did. The difference is they didn't become members of masonic societies and write books that made them famous.
Putting the limelight all on one or a few people as "national heroes" also makes it appear as if there is a dearth of heroes in Philippine history. When "hero" is mentioned, what comes to mind for many Filipinos is Rizal, because historical focus has constantly been on him and his life. I admire Rizal’s life highly, but if I had relied on schoolroom history books I would not have learned about the many local war heroes who fought valiantly against the Spanish, then the American and the Japanese invaders despite the surrender of Bataan. I'm glad at least that the present government has paid tribute to them by building a Libingan ng mga Bayani in Dingle, Iloilo.
